THE COLLECTION
RAINBOW BRIGHT
Inspired by a lamp base seen during her travels in Guatemala in 2023, Courtney reimagined the design through a kaleidoscopic rainbow of hues. The abstract movement of the curved element appears to float above a contemporary take on a traditional diamond pattern, bursting free from the borders of the rug. This isn’t for the faint of heart. This one is for the boldest among us for whom color is joy.

KALEIDOSCOPE
Twisting a classic cross shape through our playful kaleidoscope, we created the Hopscotch pattern. We can’t help but think of summer play days when we were kids. The resulting pattern is complex and sophisticated, perfect for a wide variety of spaces and very adaptable to changes in color palette.

REFRACTION
Influenced by classic stained glass, Refraction captures the essence of light shifting through a design to create a kaleidoscopic pool of color. The color palette of fresh blues, greens, and yellows radiates both vibrancy and comfort.

CUBIST
Reimagining abstraction and inspired by Mondrian, Cubist features a soft, modern mix of lavender-gray, deep navy, dusty pink, mustard yellow, sage green, and plum. The colors feel cozy yet fresh, creating a playful yet sophisticated addition to any space.
Joyfully elegant, color confident.

UTOPIA
Inspired by a custom venetian plaster relief Courtney created for a pied-a-terre in New York City, Utopia’s fluid abstract shapes encourage thoughtful contemplation. We infused the design with a primary color inspired kaleidoscope of cranberry red, blues, yellow, and cream.

ABACUS
Inspired by the simple yet powerful abacus, this rug is a “calculated” turn of the kaleidoscope paired with a casual and easy to style design.
08/ 10
Quilting began as a practical craft, piecing together fabric for warmth and padding. Patchwork honors this tradition with a modern take on classic quilting patterns. The mix of rich blue, pistachio green, and persimmon red, the rug is quite versatile.

ARRAY
The word array, defined as an impressive display or range of a particular type of thing, feels perfect for this color study rug. Inspired by the chromatic compositions of Josef Albers, Array radiates energy and embodies the kaleidoscope theme. The unusual palette and silk texture challenges the senses and invigorates interiors.
David Ariel Rugs x Right Meets Left
Our inaugural collection in collaboration with David Ariel Rugs features ten designs combining geometric shapes, fluid movement, and a bold color palette to create a dynamic perspective on contemporary rug design. They establish an engaging dialogue with forward-thinking ideas and joy-infused interiors.
We are excited to bring our colorful eye to Afghan rugs, typically seen in a more neutral palette. The rich wool is lovingly hand-woven in Afghanistan by independent artisans, creating opportunities to generate financial power for women in the area.
In a world that feels increasingly disconnected and cold, we hope these pieces are a little dose of joy and connection in creative interiors.
Always elegant, but with a wink and a smile.”
Flirty and unapologetically feminine, the Petal Perfect rug spins our kaleidoscope through a palette of pinks, blue, and cream. Inspired by flower petals, the border design makes this piece particularly perfect and charming for a bedroom.
