Full-service design projects include new construction, renovations, and full-service interior design.  Our clients include C-suite executives, senior finance and marketing executives, and successful entrepreneurs.  We particularly enjoy working with new homeowners and empty-nesters looking to re-imagine their homes for their next chapter in life.  From the first meeting, we establish a highly professional process allowing clients to trust in our ability to deliver results exceeding their expectations. 

Right Meets Left Interior Design accepts a select few large scale projects each year, typically in the mid to upper six-figure range.  If you have a smaller scale budget and the ability to execute components of your design project, we can work with you to tailor our services to your project.  

FULL-SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS

PHASE I: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT - UNDERSTANDING YOU

We believe the ultimate luxury is the ability to truly personalize your space to reflect your unique personality.  The goal of Phase I is to understand you - your goals and dreams for your home, your lifestyle and priorities, and your personal design style.  At the conclusion of this phase, you will have a proposed furniture plan, proposed project budget, detailed scope of work, and initial design concepts for the project.  All parties will have a keen understanding and agreement surround project goals and direction, preparing us to embark on Phase II.   The goal is to ensure we are moving forward in the right direction and you are excited by the design ideas for your home. 

PHASE II: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - CREATIVE FOCUS

By analyzing the information shared in Phase I and evaluating the architectural elements, lighting considerations, and practical lifestyle requirements unique to your home and your family, we develop a creative vision for the design project - bringing our ideas to life.  In this phase, we select the furnishings, lighting, finishes, window treatments, art, key accessories, etc.  For renovations, we also select all of the fixtures and mill work required by the scope of work.  We prepare presentation materials, including design boards, plans, key elevations, 3D models, and photo-realistic renderings.  We also provide an updated budget based on our selections.  We review and discuss your feedback to create a design plan perfectly suited to you.  This is a particularly exciting time stage in the process as you will have a clear view of the new design for your home, preparing us to embark on Phase III. 

PHASE III: PROJECT PURCHASE MANAGEMENT - SEAMLESS EXECUTION

A beautiful design is nothing if it cannot be executed properly and efficiently.  We understand you have limited availability to handle the many details involved in a design project.  Our goal is to make the process as easy and seamless as possible for you.  We handle all selection, specification, ordering, delivery, and installation of all decor items for your project - everything from furniture to lighting to artwork to window treatments.  Working with our team of receivers, delivery professionals, and installers, we ensure the carefully selected items for your home are handled with care and installed to specification.  This is where we kick into left-brain mode, handling the complex organizational demands of executing a luxury interior design project.

We utilize a sophisticated, web-based project management system enabling us to effectively organize and execute the vision and enabling you to review project details at your convenience, 24 hours / 7 days.  During this phase, we will prepare proposals for each item specified for your review and approval.  We collect deposits, manage orders with our vendors, and develop a project timeline.  We prepare any additional detailed drawings required for custom pieces and begin collaborating with our roster of specialty trades and artisans.

In addition, as required we will schedule on-site consultations with third-parties to review the project concepts and take detailed measurements in order to receive accurate quotes.  It is imperative that we meet on-site to review potential obstacles and options from the start.  We can provide drawings to contractors for estimates as required. 

PHASE IV: RENOVATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT - CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT

We handle renovations involving small updates to full-scale gut renovations.  If the scope of the project involves a renovation, we are available to help execute the scope of work.  We can recommend third-party contractors, provide construction documents, and review construction progress to ensure timely and accurate execution.  We collaborate with a roster of architects and engineers for projects requiring permits and Department of Buildings inspections and approvals.  We prepare packages for board approvals, and can serve as a liaison with property management.

PHASE V: INSTALLATION AND PROJECT COMPLETION - FINALE

The final phase of the project is focused on the delivery and installation of all items specified for the project.  In addition, we schedule an installation day that includes final styling and the big reveal!  We conduct a walk-through with you through the finished space, discuss all notable items.  In addition, we provide a project summary and maintenance binder detailing all of the items selected for the project and how to care for selected pieces.  While most or all pieces will have been previously invoiced, there will be outstanding invoices related to deliveries, cleaning services, etc, which we you will receive after the final reveal. 

CLIENT CLOSURE MEETING

At the conclusion of the project, we schedule either a call or in-person meeting to discuss any open issues and ensure your satisfaction with your newly designed space.  At this time, we will also kindly request feedback, reviews/testimonials and referrals.
